“Admittedly, we don’t have much experience with dog breeders but I can’t imagine there is a better one anywhere than Old Mills Ausiedoodles. Kirstin, from our first contact, gave us great confidence in her commitment and dedication to her puppies. Like others have said, we were always able to visit with Trooper before she was ready to come home with us. Additionally Kirstin has always been available to answer any questions and give guidance before and after getting Trooper. Trooper arrived home already use to a crate, had her fist shots and had been exposed to numerous experiences that she finds normal. So when Trooper hears a loud noise or any dog barking she is not running around either afraid or barking herself. Lastly, we use the same veterinary clinic as does Kirstin. The Dr. and staff are very impressed with Kirstin and how well she takes care of the puppies. “Old Mills Aussiedoodle’s is the best! We would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a forever fur member for their family. Kirstin is awesome! She has been there for us since day one, answering any and all questions we had. She is a wealth of information on the Aussiedoodle breed – you can tell that she absolutely loves the breed and that she loves all the puppies like they are her own. Her positive reinforcement training method was exactly what we were looking for. When we got Yondu he came already introduced to the crate and leash which really helped. Kirstin also provided information about things we might encounter in the first couple weeks which was fantastic! The blanket and snuggle puppy that she provided really helped Yondu with the transition to our home. Yondu is now 10 months old, and he has been the perfect addition to our family. We still keep in touch with Kirstin. Even after 10 months she answers any questions we may have. Yondu loves to be with us. He enjoys walks, camping with the family, playing fetch, giving kisses, and cuddling. We love him so much and could not imagine life without him! “Summer is my dream dog! After years of researching various breeds, I finally decided on an aussiedoodle. Another year of research led me to Old Mills and I couldn't be happier. Kirstin was very responsive, answered all my questions, and was very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and confident that I was getting my puppy from a responsible breeder. About a year later, our little Summer was born and it was love at first sight. She caught my eye before any of the other puppies and I was elated when I got to make her mine. Summer has been an absolute joy. She's incredibly smart (she knows over 15 commands), is fun and playful, and has the best temperament. Everyone we meet (including her trainers) comments on how sweet and friendly she is - even her vet was impressed and said she was a "perfect" dog. She loves going on adventures, bike rides around the city, and making new doggie friends at the park. She's incredibly gentle and loves children. Despite being a high-energy pup, she also loves just curling up on the couch. We can't wait to take her hiking and apple-picking this fall and watch her play in the snow in the winter. We couldn't be happier with our little furball and I'm so glad we used Old Mills Aussiedoodles. We live in NYC and made the drive to MI to get her. We got to meet the other aussiedoodles and they were all just as sweet and friendly as our little Summer. We met Kirstin who was very professional and genuinely cared about her puppies. I can't say enough wonderful things about Old Mills Aussiedoodles. Another added bonus was the puppy culture method that Kirstin uses. Our little Summer is fearless. She isn't afraid of any of the loud NYC sounds (like constant honking, barking dogs, screeching trains, buses, motorcycles, etc.) or regular everyday sounds from vacuums and other household appliances. “Atlas has been such a wonderful addition to our family! He is such a sweet, goofy, playful puppy and super smart! He has the best temperament out of any other dog I know! He loves meeting new people and dogs. He came home knowing a few basic commands and was basically crate trained by the time we brought him home! He also had some basic potty training that made that process at home so much easier! He was pretty much completely potty trained within a couple of weeks! Kirstin has been so helpful from the very beginning of our puppy journey! Her website has so much great information and so many helpful tips that really made getting my first puppy easier! After 2 months of searching online and FB for the right breeder, we found our Cola at Old Mills Aussiedoodles. Kirstin was and continues to be awesome! Initially, she answered all our questions and concerns about the breed. Once we decided to choose a puppy and paid the deposit, she went above and beyond for us. She continuously updated us with Cola’s milestones in crate, clicker, and leash training, sent a lot of pictures and videos, and provided us with tons of information and recommendations on supplies we needed for Cola’s arrival home. Cola has been a great addition to our family and has definitely helped my wife and 4 and 6 year olds get through these tough times during the COVID epidemic. "Alfie is one of a kind. He has such a great personality and loves to meet new people. His energy is always through the roof and always keeps us on our toes. His favorite things are his chicken toy, baby carrots, and long walks. He knows a variety of tricks which include sitting, shaking, spinning in a circle, standing, and more. He has a rebellious side though, always trying to get into the toilet paper when he can. Overall, Alfie is a great family pup. He makes everyday better." -Maya

“Stanley and Duncan (Stan & Dunk) are doing well. They are growing and have adjusted to life with our family. Stan is much more outspoken and is very smart. He is also adventuresome and has unfortunately learned how to climb over the "puppy/ kiddie" play yard inside the house as a result of this spirit. Duncan is also very smart and is a very fast runner but is more content to just hang out inside the play yard:) Both boys love to play with one another although they also like "whatever he has" almost all the time! Just like human brothers, we can give them each the same toy or treat and they will want the other pup's toy and or treat. Stan and Dunk are good with the other dogs we have greeted on our walks and are great with kids. They even went to an inpatient rehabilitation center to check on grandpa and were very well received by grandpa, the other patients & visitors, as well as the staff members. They may have a future as comfort dogs of some sort! They also really like car rides. They have been to Ann Arbor and to Kalamazoo several times. They both usually know the following commands: "sit", "come", "gentle" (when we offer treats!), "bed", and "go to it". They are starting to heel better on walks and are learning how to fetch. It is much easier for the boys to run around the yard since getting the Invisible Fence. We often refer to them as "the boys" but they do also appear to know their names. They learned quickly where the perimeter of the yard is so they play outside together a lot:) They love to chase one another in the yard as well as to "alpha" wrestle! They can play and play before they are tired. They also love sticks and were recently spotted "fighting" over the same stick. They eventually decided to share it:) Both Stanley and Duncan will lie on their backs for belly rubs. They also do not mind getting their nails trimmed or when we play with their paws. They were recently groomed and did quite well. We have also bathed them at home several times. We will admit that 2 puppies can be a little hard at times. Stan and Dunk have each other to play with and are crated in the same crate yet it is divided so they have also bonded with us. They are definitely a welcome part of the Gordon family! It is fun seeing them grow and has been neat to see their progress.” -The Gordon Family
